The Department of Language, Literature, and Communication at Rensselaer is an internationally- recognized center for interdisciplinary education, research, and theory development.
LL&C faculty and graduate students conduct cross-disciplinary studies in Computer-Mediated Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Community Informatics, and Technology Studies at the Social and Behavioral Research Laboratory (SBRL).
Students participate in the Jay R. Gould Student Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC) to keep up-to-date on the latest technology and trends of the communication profession.
